Privacy
1 Our commitment to anonymity
Anonymity is the spiritual foundation of Alcoholics Anonymous. We do not disclose any information about anyone who contacts us,
attends a meeting or is a member of the fellowship. Every conversation with AA Ghana is treated in confidence.
We will never share personal information without your explicit consent, except where we are required to by law.
2 What this website collects
You can browse this website without telling us who you are. We collect only:
- Messages you send us. When you use the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent by email to our volunteers. The website itself does not keep a copy.
- Newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we keep your email address to send it to you.
- Visit statistics. We use Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. It records information such as your browser, device and approximate location, but not your name. Google’s handling of this data is described in Google’s Privacy Policy.
The “Twelve questions” self-check on our homepage runs only in your browser. Your answers are not saved or sent anywhere.
3 How we use and share it
- We use your contact details only to reply to you, or to send the newsletter you asked for.
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
- We do not share it with anyone outside AA Ghana’s volunteers, except where the law requires it.
4 Your choices
- You can ask us to delete any message or email address you have sent us by contacting us at info@aainfoghana.com.
- You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The website will still work.
